Assisted Area Status
What are Assisted Areas?
Areas recognised in European state aid guidelines as less economically advantaged and which would benefit from additional support or development. The 2014-2020 UK Assisted Areas Map came into force on 1 July 2014.
You can search for an area of interest by place name, postcode, Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), local authority or Westminster constituency. You can also zoom and pan on the interactive map. Clicking on individual wards will bring up additional information about the ward.
